Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth coordination of inter-relationship between departments and the end customer;
  • Ensure the planning and execution of work procedures, including project schedules, work breakdown structures, resource planning through all the projects phases;
  • Control and monitor project performance through his/her teams and ensure that all project milestone dates are met;
  • Follow up on agreed deliverables to ensure consistency and quality;
  • Manage and closely monitor related outsourcing services, third-party suppliers and employees, ensuring optimum standards are reached and compliance with legal requirements;
  • Perform ad-hoc inspection on work in progress to ensure installation conforms to specifications and adheres to construction schedules;
  • Consult with own team to provide technical advice and to resolve issues;
  • Support the implementation and integration of new initiatives including IT solutions and other initiatives;
  • Devise operations plans to achieve financial targets;
  • Ensure that all project data is kept up-to-date and accurate for reporting and auditing purposes;
  • Report to the Board of Directors on various operations and project reports;
  • Maximise operations, labour rate income, productive hours and resources and other profit-making opportunities;
  • Devising and monitoring after sales operation KPIs; 
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement of parts and materials;
  • Evaluate the best possible sources of supply, keeping in mind the optimum trade-off between quality, price, customer satisfaction and business return whilst maintaining best relationships with the mother companies as an important business stakeholder;
  • Maintain optimum parts stock levels and turnover ratios in relation to demand and business trends;
  • Leading and motivating all staff under his/her accountability to achieve common goals and objectives
  • Carrying out formal and informal performance reviews of direct reports and take the necessary actions to align staff with business objectives;
  • Establish the process for training and development of all teams under responsibility and drive timely completions to improve customer satisfaction and profitability;
  • Implement Company devised Performance Management systems and other HR systems to promote employee motivation and engagement;
  • Hear grievances of employees and ensure that they are resolved without undue delay and in a fair manner;
  • Ensure that all staff work in a clean, safe and healthy environment;
  • Organise staff briefings to ensure ongoing communication flow at all levels of the business unit;
  • Ensure that the highest level of service to customers is delivered at all times by all staff members;
  • Serve as a Company Representative when necessary, at site meetings;
  • Conduct surveys to establish the necessary actions for continuous service improvement and customer retention;
  • Deal with customers’ complaints personally (where necessary) and take all appropriate actions to resolve complaints in a professional and fair manner;
  • Prepare and monitor budgets and control project costs;
  • Ensure that project billings are current and accurate;
  • Forecast monthly revenue, monthly financial reporting and client invoicing;
  • Introduce  standard operating procedures to enhance standardisation of processes and effective operations;
  • Ensure that all statutory requirements in the operations of job holder’s span of responsibilities are met;
  • Responsible on execution for the implementation of continuous process improvement for improved efficiency and removal of waste;
  • Ensure that all equipment used by the job holder and staff are regularly serviced and are in efficient running order at all times;
  • Ensure Health and Safety practices in accordance to legislation;
  • Build positive relationships with customers, apply excellent customer care at all times and oversee the preservation of both the clients’ and company’s property and equipment;
  • Be aware of any health and safety issues; also understand appropriately ergonomic techniques;
  • Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols;
  • Any other duties as may be necessary from time to time.


  • Minimum qualification MQF Level 6 in Engineering and/or Building Services;
  • Minimum of 5 year experience in a senior management position preferably within the manufacturing industry or within a project management environment;
  • Engineering or technical background will be considered as an asset.

  • Strong proficiency with the Internet, Microsoft Office and electronic devices.
