Company Introduction

Our client is a leading operator in the gambling industry.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Preparing and posting journals for monthly management accounts;
  • Performing bank reconciliations and cash flows;
  • Issuing invoices to clients and following up outstanding debtor balances;
  • Monitoring worksheets with daily information provided by outlets, ensuring that they are being updated and reconciled;
  • Following up issues with suppliers which are escalated from junior staff;
  • Preparing reports for government authorities such as VAT returns, MGA taxation, etc;
  • Overseeing payroll calculation, review and validate all payroll related transactions;
  • Reviewing of supplier invoices and ensuring that these have been approved and backed up with respective purchase order before processing for payment;
  • Ensuring timely and accurate recording and reporting of business transactions within the agreed timelines;
  • Preparing required budgeting and financial reporting;
  • Documenting and maintaining complete and accurate supporting information for financial transactions;
  • Ensuring the timely preparation for superior of financial information that may be required lawfully by external bodies, like Government regulator and Banks;
  • Liaising with other management to obtain information required or discuss issues encountered arising from operations;
  • Liaising with auditors to perform statutory audit and maintain an effective working relationship with them;
  • Keeping subordinates always motivated; conduct job development interviews of subordinates as required;
  • Providing for the training of subordinates to ensure that they have the necessary knowledge and skill to carry out their duties with sustained maximum efficiency;
  • Ensuring good housekeeping of financial records and confidential information;
  • Providing support to certain projects and initiatives as required by management;
  • Any other relevant duties as may by requested by the CFO.


  • Minimum 3 solid years of relevant experience;
  • Have any accounting qualifications.

Personal Skills

  • Be highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel;
  • Flexible approach to work;
  • Ability to work on own initiative;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills for deadlines to be met;
  • Good command of English and preferably Italian;
  • Have a strong team player skills.
