Company Introduction

Our client is a well established leading local distributor of medical and food supplies.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Compiling product costings in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Assisting senior management in the determination of product pricing;
  • Updating pricing of all stock and inputting all data in the system;
  • Processing stock adjustments;
  • Up keeping of stock cards;
  • Scheduling and monitoring periodic stock takes and investigating stock discrepancies;
  • Generating and interpreting stock reports;
  • Completion of reports for statutory purposes;
  • Preparation of product forecasts in collaboration with sales management;
  • Issuing of sales invoices against delivery orders;
  • Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Experience

  • Knowledge of Shireburn Stock Management System (SIMs) will be considered an asset;
  • Experience working in a similar environment for at least 1 year will also be given preference.

Personal Skills

  • Enjoy working as part of a team;
  • A high level of attention to detail;
  • A good level of computer literacy, especially Excel;
  • Strong data entry skills;
  • A conscientious, diligent worker with a “right first time“ mind set;
  • Highly organised and have good multi-tasking and time management skills.
