Our client is a leading company in the hospitality and catering industry.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support the day-to-day coordination and supervision of maintenance operations across the organisation;
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing both internal maintenance teams and external contractors;
  • Monitor maintenance schedules, track ongoing works, and follow up on task completion to ensure deadlines are met;
  • Provide guidance and support to maintenance personnel as required;
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance projects and activities;
  • Liaise with Heads of Departments regarding planned maintenance works and communicate any potential operational impacts;
  • Obtain, review, and evaluate quotations for maintenance materials and services;
  • Monitor the quality of materials, repairs, and completed maintenance works;
  • Support the implementation of preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and ensure operational efficiency;
  • Assist in ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of HVAC, ELV, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems;
  • Ensure maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, health and safety requirements, and operational standards.

Experience

  • Previous experience within a maintenance role, preferably within hospitality, leisure, or a large-scale operational environment;
  • Experience in a supervisory or senior maintenance position will be considered an asset;
  • Higher Technician Diploma (HTD) level of technical education or an equivalent qualification;
  • Valid Local Licence A and B;
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and ELV systems;
  • Good understanding of building maintenance practices and maintenance operations.
