Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct regular dock visits across assigned marinas in Malta and selected Mediterranean locations, engaging professionally with superyacht crews;
  • Present and promote the company’s shipyard, engineering, chandlery, and refit services in a clear and commercially compelling manner;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with captains, chief engineers, ETOs, pursers, and senior crew members;
  • Identify repair, upgrade, refit, and provisioning opportunities, qualifying leads and coordinating internally for follow-up;
  • Liaise with operations and estimating teams to ensure timely quotations, technical feedback, and site visits are arranged;
  • Represent the company at marina events, industry gatherings, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence;
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including visit logs, pipeline updates, and weekly activity reports;
  • Provide structured feedback to the marketing team regarding competitor activity, seasonal trends, and emerging service opportunities.

Experience

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, yacht operations, marine services, luxury hospitality, or a similar client-facing environment;
  • Strong exposure to marina or superyacht environments and understanding of industry etiquette and confidentiality standards;
  • Fluent in professional English; additional languages such as Italian, French, or Spanish will be considered an asset;
  • Valid passport and clean driving licence required;
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours aligned with marina operations and yacht schedules.
