Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead a team: effective communication and motivation;
  • Oversee all aspects of the team’s work: while ensuring high levels of quality, efficiency and client satisfaction;
  • Monitor your team’s performance and be involved in target setting;
  • Manage team workflows, workloads and deadlines;
  • Assist other team members and act as their primary point of contact and review their work when necessary;
  • Responsible for a portfolio of top tier clients operating in varied industries; actively managing and enhancing relationship with clients;
  • Completing VAT returns and management accounts, and liaising with auditors;
  • Preparing ad-hoc financial reports by analysing accounting information;
  • Re-assess and propose improvements to systems and processes as and when required;
  • Identify opportunities for growth.


  • ACCA qualified or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the same industry;
  • Excellent command of accounting standards, Maltese VAT and income tax legislation.

  • Able to work against deadlines, and deliver in a timely manner;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
  • Ability to work on own initiative and in a team.
