Our client is a boutique corporate services company.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervise a team of accounting professionals;
- Coordinate accounting, tax, and audit liaison activities;
- Oversee the timely completion of deliverables within set deadlines;
- Guide team members to foster their skills and professional development;
- Offer support to the team whenever necessary;
- Keep the team motivated and focused on delivering consistently on time;
- Act as the technical authority for the Board, team, and clients;
- Oversee a select client portfolio, handling accounting, VAT, and income tax matters;
- Assess and address training requirements to remain updated with industry advancements;
- Prepare management accounts and draft financial statements;
- Liaise with international clients as needed;
- Manage additional responsibilities and ad hoc projects as they arise.
Experience
- Hold a strong educational foundation;
- Accumulate at least 5 years of experience within an accounting setting, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in Corporate Services;
- Demonstrate proficiency in preparing financial statements that comply with IFRS and GAPSME standards, including both standalone and consolidated reports;
- Possess expertise in local tax reporting, encompassing the preparation of tax returns, managing refunds, and calculating NID;
- Exhibit excellent proficiency in the English language.
