Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee and manage technicians responsible for deliveries, installations, and repairs of food service and industrial laundry equipment;
  • Manage administrative clerks responsible for spare parts procurement and invoicing activities;
  • Log, plan, and schedule workshop repairs, service calls, and equipment deliveries;
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding service-related matters and updates;
  • Liaise with the sales team to coordinate deliveries and installations for projects;
  • Check and review service-related documentation for accuracy and completeness;
  • Handle warranty-related matters and follow up as required;
  • Conduct team briefings to coordinate daily activities and priorities;
  • Oversee and monitor the status of all repairs and service jobs;
  • Plan and coordinate installations for projects, including conducting on-site visits when required;
  • Control and approve timesheets and leave requests;
  • Create and implement service-related procedures;
  • Prepare quotations, execute, and schedule preventive maintenance agreements;
  • Manage petty cash and fuel cards, and oversee the maintenance of company vehicles;
  • Formulate and analyse reports using the Field Service and Inventory Management software.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a service management, technical coordination, or supervisory role;
  • Background in a technical environment involving equipment servicing, installations, or repairs;
  • Experience coordinating technical and administrative teams;
  • Strong administrative experience, including scheduling, documentation review, and coordination;
  • Familiarity with field service and inventory management systems.

  • Strong organisational and planning skills;
  • Clear communication skills when dealing with clients and internal teams;
  • Detail-oriented approach to documentation and service coordination;
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple service activities concurrently.
