Our client is a bank.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage the Company's IT infrastructure, oversee hardware, software applications, virtualized environments, backup solutions, networking and security devices, end-user devices, and cloud solutions;
- Ensure optimal systems and infrastructure availability through continuous monitoring and maintenance;
- Perform installations, upgrades, configurations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and resource optimization for the Company's IT infrastructure;
- Identify and resolve issues impacting the Company's IT operations;
- Liaise with and escalate issues to third-party service providers;
- Maintain and test the Company's Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans for the infrastructure;
- Actively participate in decision-making for the introduction of new IT systems and infrastructure projects;
- Deploy cybersecurity policies across the organization;
- Promote and implement IT operations best practices;
- Keep documentation related to the Company's infrastructure updated.
Experience
- Possess 3 to 5 years of experience supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure, preferably in the financial services industry, with expertise in core banking systems, ETL, databases, and scripting.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent;
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience with Cloud platforms and architectures;
- Exhibit excellent proficiency in Microsoft operating systems, services, and products, including Active Directory, Azure AD, Domain controllers, and Microsoft 365;
- Have a strong understanding of VMware/Hyper-V virtualization;
- Hold professional certifications; certification in any of the mentioned technologies is considered an asset.
