Our client is a leading Shipping Company

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Management accounting;
  • VAT returns and other related VAT documents;
  • Tax returns;
  • Manage the company Payroll;
  • Ensuring deadlines are met;
  • Chasing and making arrangements for outstanding dues;
  • General  Office Administration duties.


  • Qualified Accountant or at final stages of qualification;
  • Candidates with previous working experience in a similar role for at least 3 years will be given preference.

Personal Skills

  • Excellent communication skills especially in English, both verbally and written, Maltese will be considered and asset;
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook;
  • The ability to meet deadlines;
  • Be motivated and committed;
  • Be capable of managing a small team;
  • Be accurate and have good analytical skills;
  • Good at multitasking.
