Company Introduction

Our client is a well established leading local distributor of medical and food supplies.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for assisting the finance team in performing general accounting functions;
  • Maintaining accounting records and other related administrative and HR duties;
  • Updating accounting records, including journal entries and posting of supplier invoices;
  • Assisting in the preparation of various balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, cash, and creditors;
  • Assisting the business unit manager with purchases, stock transfer locations, and stock control;
  • Maintaining the Creditors Ledger, including payments to foreign and local suppliers on a timely basis and reconciliation of suppliers statements;
  • Supervision of cash reconciliations and handling deposits of funds received;
  • Assist in the preparation of GL account analysis and any other ad hoc reports as required;
  • Assist and perform HR duties as required. HR falls under the remit of the Finance department;
  • Performing any other duties of an administrative nature as may be delegated from time to time.


  • Previous experience and knowledge of the Shireburn Financial System will be considered an asset.
