Company Introduction

Our client is a leading organisation in accounting, audit, tax, corporate services and business advisory.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Report to the Senior Manager;
  • Participating in off-site remediation projects;
  • Assisting in the management and coordination of regulatory examinations;
  • Carrying out of process audits, gap analysis, simulated on-site inspections, the drafting and/or review of policies and procedures;
  • Drafting and/or review of staff manuals, assistance with the drawing up and implementation of remediation plans, ongoing technical and operational assistance to MLROs and Compliance Officers and the carrying out of AML/CFT risk assessments;
  • Assisting in the management and coordination of regulatory examinations;
  • Development and delivery of AML/CFT training programs.

Experience

  • Holding a university degree or equivalent qualification in a related field;
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in AML/CFT role.

Personal Skills

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken;
  • Good knowledge of the laws governing, AML of terrorism in Malta;
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access;
  • Willing to learn company-specific software if required;
  • Be able to prioritise and deliver quality work within tight time frames;
  • Interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards;
  • Work with minimal supervision;
  • Be result-oriented, responsible, highly meticulous, organised and detail-oriented.
