Company Introduction

Our client is a well-established importer and distributor of quality Foods and Beverages.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for effective inventory management of the division;
  • To follow effective inventory techniques and procedures, catering for both outgoing as well as incoming goods,
  • Ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of the stores area;
  • Oversee and coordinate the loading/unloading, unpacking and storing of material, supplies required to be dispatched;
  • Make the most efficient utilization of available storage space;
  • Ensure good housekeeping and safe working conditions in the Company’s store;
  • Inspect all items received against delivery notes/invoices;
  • Maintain inventory control records on material received/dispatched;
  • Identify and prepare goods for delivery;
  • Ensure correct orders are being delivered to the clients;
  • Ensure that storekeepers are picking the correct orders;
  • Assist in the coordination of daily routes for 3/4 drivers.

Experience

  • Experience in a similar role for at least 1 year will be considered as an asset.

Personal Skills

  • Excellent written and oral proficiency in both English and Maltese;
  • Planning, organisation and time management skills;
  • Be an exemplary team player;
  • The ability to work autonomously and on your own initiative;
  • Holds strong Health & Safety practices knowledge and awareness;
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. 

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday 7.00-16:00
