Our client is an Institution in Malta.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Administer the institutes annual academic programme and to coordinate the logistics and promotion of all academic events organised;
  • Management and administration of all logistics concerning all aspects of the academic programmes;
  • Managing the venue which includes venue identification and reservations and processing of payments, invoicing and receipting;
  • Liaising with speakers, lecturers and examiners then co-coordinating payments for services rendered;
  • Securing of required audio-visual equipment and other lecturer tools and aids as required;
  • Co-ordination of responses to queries received from interested applicants and students;
  • Co-ordination of hospitality for foreign speakers, examinations and record retention;
  • Implementation of regulatory matters and ensure adherence to course regulations;
  • Marketing and promotion of events including co-ordinating social media promotion, and liaising with external service providers engaged to devise and execute marketing campaigns;
  • Conduct market intelligence for the purpose of development and enhancement of the institute.

Experience

  • Experience in a similar position with proven Managerial skills;
  • Have a logistics background in operations.

Personal Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Pro-active and able to work on own initiative, independently as well as in a team;
  • Ability to work remotely and autonomously with minimal supervision;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese;
  • Good command of IT applications including Ms Office and Ms Outlook;
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure;
  • Developed organisational skills, with an eye for detail;
  • Ability to work to deadlines and to prioritise effectively under pressure;
  • ECDL qualification or equivalent;
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms;
  • Possess a secondary or higher level of education.
