Our client is a market leader in commercial vehicle imports & exports, and vehicle servicing.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare the monthly management accounts including supporting schedules and reconciliations;
- Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts/budgets;
- Analyze performance against budgets and against prior years;
- Revenue analysis and reporting;
- Be responsible for the preparation and filing of VAT returns and Statistics;
- Reconciliate key suppliers’ statements and monitor of set-offs;
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure the smooth running of the group companies’ audits;
- Monitor of E.U / National Grants that our business may benefit from;
- IT and Control Systems’ updating for continuous improvement;
- Maintain up to date KYC documentation for the group’s advisors, bankers and service providers;
- Monitor the finance team’s tasks;
- Contribute towards talent development of other team members within the finance team and be willing to take a hands-on approach and assist them as and when required, hence promoting teamwork;
- Other general duties that may be required by the directors and chief financial officer.
Experience
- Be a fully qualified accountant holding a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ACCA or equivalent;
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant in a similar position;
- Be computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Excel.

- Have a good eye for detail, with an analytical mind and the ability to critically assess financial results;
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good presentation skills;
- Be able to meet deadlines and to solve problems;
- Be an excellent team player who shows initiative.
