Our Client is a leading player in Trusts and Fund Administration.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintaining the general ledger;
  • Filing of accounting documentation;
  • Post any documentation related to accounting to the nominal ledgers;
  • Prepare reconciliation of bank and other ledger balances;
  • Prepare calculations, prepayments, and accruals;
  • Compile management accounts;
  • Preparation of financial returns and CBM returns;
  • Preparation of the annual financial statements;
  • Assisting with auditors’ queries;
  • Preparation of Vat returns, tax returns and tax refund claim forms;
  • Carrying out general duties including but not limited to liaising with other departments within the Group, and assisting in other ad-hoc duties as may arise due to the exigencies of the operation.

Experience

  • Applicants must be ACCA partly qualified or equivalent;
  • At least 1 year of experience in client accounting would be considered an asset;
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite, including Word and Excel.

  • Able to work accurately;
  • Able to work with tight deadlines;
  • Takes initiative and can work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent administrative and business support skills, able to multi-task;
  • Demonstrate the ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time.
