Company Introduction

Our client is a leading trading business in Malta.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for all cashier operations, including daily cash and transaction reconciliations;
  • Oversee fund allocations and maintain precise financial records;
  • Manage petty cash disbursements and replenishments with proper documentation;
  • Process and record deposits from retail outlets accurately and promptly;
  • Reconcile documentation and cash from Delivery Personnel and Sales Representatives, ensuring accuracy and accountability;
  • Record online payments and mailed cheques, ensuring timely and correct posting;
  • Carry out additional Finance and Administration tasks as required to support the Finance Department.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in a similar accounting role;
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation procedures;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software;
  • A formal qualification in Finance or Accounting is considered an advantage.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy;
  • Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
