Our client is a leading trading business in Malta.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for all cashier operations, including daily cash and transaction reconciliations;
- Oversee fund allocations and maintain precise financial records;
- Manage petty cash disbursements and replenishments with proper documentation;
- Process and record deposits from retail outlets accurately and promptly;
- Reconcile documentation and cash from Delivery Personnel and Sales Representatives, ensuring accuracy and accountability;
- Record online payments and mailed cheques, ensuring timely and correct posting;
- Carry out additional Finance and Administration tasks as required to support the Finance Department.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in a similar accounting role;
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation procedures;
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software;
- A formal qualification in Finance or Accounting is considered an advantage.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills;
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
