Company Introduction
Our client is a food producer and distributor based in Gozo.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Process and post sales and purchase invoices accurately within the accounting system;
- Prepare and execute payment runs in accordance with company procedures;
- Record customer receipts and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collection of debts;
- Prepare cashbook entries and perform periodic cash reconciliations;
- Carry out regular bank, supplier, and intercompany reconciliations;
- Support month-end closing procedures and related accounting tasks;
- Maintain organised and accurate filing of financial documentation;
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts;
- Compile financial reports and perform monthly computations as required by management.
Experience
- In possession of an Advanced Diploma in Accounting/AAT or an A-Level qualification in Accounts;
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance-related role will be considered an asset;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

- Organised and detail-oriented with strong numerical accuracy;
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines;
- Reliable and proactive in carrying out assigned responsibilities.
