Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the team in the preparation of management accounts and annual financial statements;
- Help manage monthly payroll processes for clients in a timely and accurate manner;
- Assist with the compilation and submission of VAT returns;
- Contribute to the preparation of corporate tax computations and returns;
- Communicate regularly with clients to ensure smooth day-to-day company administration;
- Take initiative to ensure all statutory filing deadlines are met;
- Coordinate with auditors and banking institutions as required.
Experience
- Recently obtained or currently pursuing a qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA or equivalent);
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications effectively.
Personal Skills
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of Maltese is considered an asset;
- Strong client orientation with a proactive and solution-driven mindset;
- Capable of working independently while meeting deadlines and managing responsibilities efficiently.
