Our client is a hospitality management company.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare and process creditors’ payments, including cheques, electronic transfers, direct debits, and standing orders, ensuring proper authorization and compliance with payment terms, internal guidelines, and cashflow requirements;
  • Generate and distribute remittance advices to suppliers following payment runs;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all creditor transactions, including proper invoice allocation;
  • Prepare a bi-weekly creditors’ report for management, verifying completeness of purchase invoice entries and identifying any missing allocations, while providing insights on cash flow and expenditure trends;
  • Reconcile supplier statements, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely follow-up on reconciling items;
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and audit preparations;
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to address invoice or payment-related queries and maintain positive working relationships;
  • Assist the Financial Controller with ad hoc projects and reporting tasks as required;
  • Perform other duties aligned with the scope of the role as necessary.

Experience

  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel finance or accounts payable, ideally within the hospitality sector;
  • Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
  • Familiarity with financial regulations, hospitality compliance standards, and internal control procedures.
