- Support in crafting accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets;
- Analyze financial data to pinpoint emerging trends, variances, and areas ripe for improvement;
- Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, company protocols, and regulatory mandates;
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide support for decision-making;
- Contribute actively to the monthly and yearly closure procedures with diligence and efficiency;
- Play a pivotal role in shaping and executing financial policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness;
- Assist in upholding internal controls and overseeing audit protocols to uphold financial integrity;
- Undertake specialized financial analyses and projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability;
- Execute routine accounting tasks meticulously, including data entry and meticulous entry verification;
- Offer comprehensive training to team members on financial protocols and processes;
- Provide oversight and direct involvement in troubleshooting any departmental issues that arise;
- Engage enthusiastically in ongoing training and development initiatives to foster personal and professional growth opportunities.
Experience
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or an ACCA qualification;
- Demonstrate minimum 2 years of experience in finance or accounting;
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and adeptness with financial management software;
- Fluency in both Maltese and English languages.
