Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee and manage statutory audits from initial planning through to final completion;
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with the applicable accounting standards and ensure all necessary documentation is completed, including communication with those charged with governance (e.g., management letter);
- Identify audit issues, communicate findings, and offer actionable recommendations;
- Supervise and provide guidance to junior auditors, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in their work;
- Support the onboarding process and provide hands-on training for audit associates;
- Contribute to additional audit-related projects as needed.
Experience
- Hold a university degree or be in the advanced stages of completing the ACCA qualification;
- Bring 2-3 years of relevant professional experience;
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of IFRS, ISAs, and local regulatory standards.
