Our client provides audit and accounting services.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Carry out comprehensive audits of financial statements in accordance with Maltese regulations and international auditing standards;
- Work closely with clients to understand their operations and deliver audit solutions tailored to their specific business needs;
- Stay up to date with local financial laws and ensure that auditing practices are fully compliant with current legislation;
- Assistance with filing of MBR documents;
- Be knowledgeable about ongoing compliance with due diligence requirements whilst performing audits;
- Assist with other assurance services such as preparation of share transfers;
- Perform additional duties as required to support the team and business needs.
Experience
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in accountancy or be fully ACCA/ACA qualified or be in the process to obtain such qualification;
- Have at least 3 years of experience in a similar auditing role;
- Knowledgeable about using the CaseWare Audit program would be considered an asset;
- Knowledgeable about ISA & GAPSME laws;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel considered an asset;
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
