Our client is a software development company specializing in customized solutions for the import and distribution industry.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Create reliable Python applications focused on data analysis and reporting;
- Integrate Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies into Python-driven solutions;
- Apply Linear Programming techniques to enhance stock supply optimization;
- Develop and support web-based applications using FastAPI;
- Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing software systems.
Experience
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- At least 1 year of experience in backend software development using Python;
- Strong expertise in Python programming, with a focus on backend development;
- Practical experience with OCR technologies;
- Proficiency in data analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib;
- Solid understanding of Linear Programming principles and their application to optimization problems;
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, is an asset;
- Experience with SQL databases and their integration into backend systems is advantageous;
- Knowledge of messaging and queuing systems like Redis, Celery, and RabbitMQ is a plus;
- Familiarity with job scheduling and distributed messaging systems is considered an asset;
- Experience with computer vision and image processing techniques is an advantage;
- Understanding of security best practices and secure coding principles is preferred.
