Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for achieving the individual business objectives, such as new deposit volumes and investment product sales, within the specified time frame;
  • Engage in proactive prospecting and acquisition efforts, ensuring both the quantity and quality of activities meet established targets, including essential marketing initiatives to grow the client portfolio;
  • Deliver exceptional sales and consultancy services to clients, focusing on promoting and selling the Company’s deposit products while striving for maximum client satisfaction;
  • Facilitate contract execution in accordance with established standards to ensure compliance with all contractual obligations;
  • Oversee client onboarding and maintain necessary documentation related to assigned tasks, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately recorded for storage and further processing;
  • Regularly monitor and analyze client activity to mitigate risks and prevent potential losses;
  • Cultivate and enhance business relationships with existing clients;
  • Participate in the training and development of Company employees in areas related to personal expertise and specialization;
  • Engage in proactive communication with clients throughout the acquisition process, offering guidance, addressing their needs, finalizing contracts, resolving any complaints or feedback, and fostering relationships for future bidding opportunities;
  • Collaborate internally with the Ret Operations team and other representatives or managers to address non-standard situations, facilitate the transfer of more complex products, and ensure accurate reporting.

Experience

  • Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Business Studies;
  • Advantage: A minimum of 2 years of experience in banking, particularly in a front-office role with sales and business responsibilities, ideally within the retail segment or relationship management;
  • Proficient in MS Office, with a strong focus on Word and Excel.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Maltese;
  • In-depth knowledge of bank deposit products;
  • Familiarity with acquisition and sales techniques;
  • Excellent understanding of security protocols and practices within the banking system.

  • Proven relationship management abilities and strong sales skills;
  • Have excellent communication skills.
