- Develop and execute robust marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, sales, and profitability;
- Manage a diverse portfolio of FMCG brands, encompassing food items, confectionery, pet foods, detergents, and household products;
- Conduct consumer research and market analysis to capitalize on emerging opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy integrated marketing campaigns and promotions;
- Plan and execute events aligned with promotional calendars and trade channel requirements;
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to maintain a competitive market position;
- Analyze shopper behavior to optimize in-store communication methods and tools;
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels;
- Effectively allocate and oversee the marketing budget, monitoring expenditures and ROI;
- Formulate and implement sales strategies that align with company objectives;
- Establish sales targets and quotas for the Sales team;
- Evaluate sales representative performance and provide ongoing coaching;
- Develop lead generation strategies to expand the customer base;
- Manage the conversion of leads into customers throughout the sales pipeline;
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key clients and customers;
- Address customer feedback to enhance service delivery;
- Conduct performance reviews and provide continuous sales team coaching;
- Adjust sales strategies based on market trends and competitor activities;
- Ensure alignment between sales and marketing initiatives;
- Utilize analytics tools to track and report sales and marketing performance for informed decision-making.
Experience
- Demonstrate 3-5 years of experience in brand management, sales, or related positions within the FMCG industry;
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing and sales strategies that enhance brand recognition and drive revenue growth;
- Proficient in the MS Office suite and familiar with marketing and sales analytics tools;
- Previous experience in sales or product/brand management is advantageous;
- Fluent in both Maltese and English languages.
