Our client is a leading IT services provider.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Own the sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing;
  • Familiarise yourself with all products and services offered by the company;
  • Conduct market research, competition studies and analysis to identify selling possibilities and target markets;
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media;
  • Maintain and update sales, marketing and business development documentation;
  • Maintain customer activities in CRM;
  • Attend networking events, exhibitions and conferences to attract and retain customers;
  • Build positive and long-lasting business relationships with current and potential customers and the respective key decision makers;
  • Communicate with customers to understand their needs and suggest solutions;
  • Prepare and deliver pitches and customise presentations for each customer’s specific business needs;
  • Grow business through the development of new leads and contacts, and suggest upgrades and add products and services that may be of interest to existing customers;
  • Maintain a professional relationship with our Vendors and Suppliers;
  • Collaborate with management on quarterly and yearly sales targets.

Experience

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant field;
  • Have proven experience as a Business Development Executive, Sales Executive or similar role;
  • Be fluent in English and Maltese, both written and spoken;
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Be self-motivated with a results-driven approach;
  • Be able to work under pressure, against tight deadlines and abide to strict targets;
