Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and trends;
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and industry benchmarks;
  • Manage data on customer demographics, preferences, and needs.
  • Identify potential clients through various channels (e.g., cold-calling, networking events, online platforms, referrals);
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria;
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients;
  • Understand client needs and objectives to tailor solutions and offerings accordingly;
  • Provide excellent service;
  • Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to potential clients;
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutual benefit;
  • Work towards achieving revenue targets and sales quotas;
  • Identify potential partners or collaborators that can enhance the company’s offerings;
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and manage ongoing relationships;
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for geographical or product/service expansion;
  • Develop strategies for entering new markets;
  • Provide regular reports and insights to management.


  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field would be considered an asset;
  • Have proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field;
  • Have a strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics;
  • Be proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., CRM systems, Microsoft Office, analytics platforms).
