Our client is a construction company.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Identify and engage with property owners, developers, project managers, and architects to source potential investors and properties for construction contracts;
- Represent the company in all communications with key stakeholders, ensuring a professional and solution-oriented approach;
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks and financing institutions to support project funding and development;
- Assist in compiling feasibility studies and drafting comprehensive business plans to support new opportunities and investments;
- Monitor and evaluate tenders for both public and private construction projects, ensuring timely and competitive participation;
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of tender documentation in collaboration with relevant departments;
- Oversee high-level project supervision and contract management, working closely with engineers and quantity surveyors to ensure successful project execution;
- Lead and support the engineering team, facilitating coordination and communication to meet project goals;
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, project managers, and architects, representing the contractor throughout the project lifecycle;
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database of clients, subcontractors, suppliers, project stakeholders, and industry contacts;
- Manage the daily business development operations of the company in Malta, ensuring strategic goals are met;
- Prepare and deliver monthly progress and performance reports to senior management;
- Draft, review, and certify monthly company payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal processes;
- Monitor and manage operational expenses for the branch, maintaining budgetary control and financial efficiency;
- Supervise personnel across various functions, promoting a productive and collaborative work environment;
- Act as the company’s representative in dealings with public authorities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Experience
- Hold a university qualification in engineering, construction, or another relevant technical discipline;
- Solid computer literacy and ability to work efficiently with digital tools;
- Previous experience within the construction industry will be considered a strong asset.
