Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide leadership to the Board’s Finance, Accounting, and IT strategy to optimize the company’s financial performance and strategic position;
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive sustainable growth and profitability;
  • Oversee the company’s accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and support for current activities and future growth;
  • Manage the bank’s liquidity and optimize capital resources to support business operations;
  • Lead corporate finance activities, including capital requirements, debt management, taxation, equity, and mergers and acquisitions;
  • Ensure timely submission of management accounts, regulatory reports, and tax filings, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements;
  • Report financial results to the board of directors and provide strategic insights and recommendations;
  • Collaborate with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Audit Committee as required to support business objectives;
  • Serve as a member of the Executive Committee (ExCo) and Asset and Liability Committee;
  • Cultivate relationships with external financial institutions and stakeholders to support the bank’s objectives;
  • Drive user satisfaction by evaluating bank operations and identifying opportunities for improvement;
  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors to support the bank’s technology and operational needs.


  • Hold a minimum of 7 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in banking and 3 years in an executive role;
  • Be a qualified member of an accountancy association or possess an equivalent certification;
  • Have in-depth knowledge of banking regulations, including local and EU regulations;
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
