Company Introduction

Our client is a leading company within the financial services sector.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing accounting, administrative, and related support services;
  • Prepare management accounts and financial statements;
  • Liaise with auditors and support audit processes;
  • Handle tax reporting, payments, and communication with tax authorities;
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations;
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing queries and maintaining strong relationships;
  • Support payroll processing for clients where applicable;
  • Assist with additional administrative and client-related tasks as required.

Experience

  • Progressing towards ACCA qualification or equivalent;
  • Previous experience in client accounting or a similar role;
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and reporting standards (IFRS and GAPSME);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Experience with Sage Pastel Evolution will be considered an asset.
