Company Introduction

Our client is a leading tax, audit and advisory firm.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare, maintain, and update accounting records, ensuring accurate and timely financial information;
  • Process accounting transactions and maintain financial data within the accounting system;
  • Prepare and submit personal income tax returns;
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with statutory requirements;
  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts and other financial reports;
  • Prepare trial balances and ensure the accuracy of financial records;
  • Maintain cash books and accounting journals;
  • Liaise with regulatory and supervisory authorities on accounting-related matters;
  • Assist with additional accounting and finance duties as required.

Experience

  • ACCA or University of Malta qualified;
  • Previous experience within an accounting role or accounting team will be considered an asset;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. Advanced Excel skills will be considered an asset;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
