Our client is a leading tax, audit and advisory firm.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare, maintain, and update accounting records, ensuring accurate and timely financial information;
- Process accounting transactions and maintain financial data within the accounting system;
- Prepare and submit personal income tax returns;
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with statutory requirements;
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts and other financial reports;
- Prepare trial balances and ensure the accuracy of financial records;
- Maintain cash books and accounting journals;
- Liaise with regulatory and supervisory authorities on accounting-related matters;
- Assist with additional accounting and finance duties as required.
Experience
- ACCA or University of Malta qualified;
- Previous experience within an accounting role or accounting team will be considered an asset;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. Advanced Excel skills will be considered an asset;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
