Company Introduction

Our client is a leading Corporate Services Provider in Malta.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage client onboarding, including reviewing due diligence documentation in accordance with local regulations;
  • Conduct periodic assessments of ongoing client relationships and structures;
  • Support the company in meeting AML legal obligations;
  • Assist in the updates of internal AML/CFT compliance manuals, policies, procedures, and systems;
  • Collaborate with the Risk and Compliance Department to promote awareness of compliance and risk-related matters;
  • Aid in the process of opening bank accounts, liaising with both clients and banks as required;
  • Perform additional tasks as agreed upon with the Head of Risk and Compliance.

Experience

  • Hold a recognized bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Law, Criminology, or a related field;
  • Have at least 1-2 years of proven experience in risk and compliance, particularly within a financial services environment, would be advantageous;
  • Working knowledge of the laws related to the prevention of money laundering and the financing of terrorism in Malta, the FIAU Implementing Procedures, relevant EU legislation, and international standards.
