Company Introduction
Our client is a family-owned group of companies specializing in the importation and distribution of FMCG.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Reconcile intercompany balances for all group companies associated with the parent companies;
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts;
- Handle day-to-day input of accounting transactions;
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations;
- Prepare sales or receivables reconciliations and chase pending balances;
- Prepare payables reconciliations and payments;
- Assist with the preparation of VAT returns;
- Assist in audit process;
- Assist the Portfolio Accounting Manager with the preparation of budgets for the year;
- Maintain and issue management fees to subsidiaries, where applicable;
- Issue recharges to subsidiaries, where applicable;
- Liaise with the operations team on finance related matters to carry out the monthly close;
- Perform other essential tasks to uphold a clean Trial Balance and generate accurate monthly management accounts;
- Any other ad hoc duties related to the role.
Experience
- Hold a minimum A-level standard of education in Accounts;
- Have 5 years or more work experience in a similar position;
- Be fluent in business English;
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel.

- Must be able to work both on own initiative and in a team;
- Excellent communication skills.
