- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Corporate Relationship Managers, providing guidance and technical expertise on corporate lending matters;
- Oversee the management, monitoring, and performance of the corporate lending portfolio, ensuring facilities are administered in line with the Company’s standards and objectives;
- Review credit proposals prepared by Relationship Managers, providing feedback to ensure compliance with internal credit policies and lending standards;
- Support the development of new corporate banking relationships and identify opportunities to grow the Company’s corporate client portfolio;
- Assess, structure, and recommend corporate lending facilities in accordance with the Company’s credit policies, risk appetite, and AML requirements;
- Prepare detailed credit applications, including financial analysis, facility structuring, security recommendations, and financial covenant proposals;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients by delivering a high standard of service across lending and deposit products;
- Work closely with internal departments, including Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Legal, to support the efficient processing and ongoing management of client facilities;
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s Risk Management Framework and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements as part of the First Line of Defence;
- Represent the Head of Department at internal and external meetings when required and provide departmental support during periods of absence.
Experience
- Degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Law, or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within Corporate Banking, Commercial Lending, or a similar financial services environment;
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading, mentoring, or managing a team;
- Experience assessing and structuring corporate lending facilities, including working capital and real estate financing;
- Strong knowledge of corporate banking products, including loans, bank guarantees, and deposit products;
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and corporate lending structures;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
