Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Process flights, hotels and car rental bookings via telephone and/or e-mail in an efficient and timely manner;
- Stay informed of all airline rules, regulations, and current affairs and communicate information accurately and appropriately;
- Provide clients with a high end service from start to finish;
- Maintain and assist with statistical and financial records;
- Provide sales reports to management;
- Exceed sales targets and profit goals;
- Support 24/7 environment.
Experience
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Travel Consultant or a similar role;
- Proven expertise in a business travel environment with a focus on business account sales;
- Exceptional knowledge of the latest trends in tourism;
- Profound understanding of IATA regulations, including proficiency in using the Central Reservation System: Amadeus;
- Demonstrated experience in handling complex ticketing, exchanges, and refunds;
- Previous exposure to international travel, especially to luxury and/or specialist destinations, is considered an asset;
- Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
