Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Process flights, hotels and car rental bookings via telephone and/or e-mail in an efficient and timely manner;
  • Stay informed of all airline rules, regulations, and current affairs and communicate information accurately and appropriately;
  • Provide clients with a high end service from start to finish;
  • Maintain and assist with statistical and financial records;
  • Provide sales reports to management;
  • Exceed sales targets and profit goals;
  • Support 24/7 environment.

Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Travel Consultant or a similar role;
  • Proven expertise in a business travel environment with a focus on business account sales;
  • Exceptional knowledge of the latest trends in tourism;
  • Profound understanding of IATA regulations, including proficiency in using the Central Reservation System: Amadeus;
  • Demonstrated experience in handling complex ticketing, exchanges, and refunds;
  • Previous exposure to international travel, especially to luxury and/or specialist destinations, is considered an asset;
  • Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

  • Thrive in high-pressure environments and adeptly adjust to fluctuations in travel request volumes;
  • Possess the capability to effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining a polished and professional rapport with corporate clients;
  • Exhibit strong written communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities;
  • Show an outstanding attention to detail in all aspects of work;
  • Embody critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously while still being a valuable team player.
