Our client is a leading service provider for the civil aviation sector.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Promote a positive Safety Culture and ensure that Safety and Quality Policy is communicated/promoted and implemented within the Organization;
  • Ensure that all elements of the SMS are properly implemented, maintained and continuously improved by fulfilling all SMS related duties and responsibilities as defined in SMS Manual;
  • Develop and maintain a cost accounting framework;
  • Develop and Control Standard Costs per MH in the various Cost Centres;
  • Review, investigate and explain cost budget variances on a monthly basis;
  • Analyze the monthly cost of goods and cost of labor in management accounts to identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Analyze the monthly wastages and consumables cost by shop to address any cost overruns on a timely basis;
  • Manage an independent stock-take team involved in daily project management, inventory counts and spot checks;
  • Analyze stock variances from physical inventory cycle counts and stock-takes;
  • Assist with supplier rebate reconciliations to ensure the completeness of amounts invoiced and credit notes received;
  • Drive process improvements to reach goals and KPI’s;
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support business;
  • Perform in depth project reviews and follow up on action points for continuous improvements.


  • Have a minimum of 3 years of Accounting Experience, preferably in Manufacturing;
  • Have MS Office skills with advanced level in Excel;
  • Knowledge of SAP (FI and MM modules);
  • Have a good command of the English language;
  • Experience with ERP and stock management systems would be an asset.
