Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop detailed system designs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications;
• Specify components and materials that align with project scope, client requirements, and cost-effectiveness;
• Collaborate with project management and commercial teams to ensure smooth integration of designs into overall project plans;
• Conduct site surveys to assess system installation quality, functionality, and alignment with design expectations;
• Oversee the commissioning process, verifying that systems are installed, tested, and function as intended;
• Perform tests and inspections to validate system performance, functionality, and compliance with industry standards;
• Monitor project progress to identify and resolve design or installation challenges while maintaining timelines and quality benchmarks;
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including design revisions, calculations, and reports for stakeholders;
• Provide regular project progress updates to management, teams, and external stakeholders;
• Mentor junior team members on design principles, commissioning processes, and best practices;
• Lead internal training sessions on emerging technologies, tools, and relevant industry standards;
• Ensure all systems meet regulatory compliance requirements, company standards, and certifications such as ISO or related benchmarks.

Experience

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or a related technical field;
• Must be a warranted engineer with the necessary qualifications and certifications;
• Experience in designing, installing, and commissioning technical systems;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design software, with the ability to interpret complex M&E drawings;
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and compliance processes;
• Proven ability to perform system testing, commissioning, and documentation management throughout the project lifecycle.
