Our client is a global online gaming company specializing in live casinos.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Reporting to the HR Business Partner and/ or  Employee Relations Manager;
  • Resolution of employee relations issues, disciplinary and grievance, absence management and performance management;
  • Partner with managers to advise on employee relations cases in a professional and effective manner to minimise risk to our company;
  • Act as the 'go-to' person for the Managers and provide support with complex cases when required;
  • Support HR Specialists by ensuring best practice and quality is embedded across all HR processes;
  • Support the HR Business Partner and/or Employee Relations Manager with Employment Tribunal cases;
  • Advise, guide and coach line managers with matte relating to employee relations;
  • End to end Employee Relations case management, including providing related advice and producing any associated outcome letters;
  • Supporting key departments with the creation of new joiners and processing of resignations;
  • Support with overall HR projects as required
  • Any other duties as required to include general HR administration duties.

Experience

  • Holding a Certificate e in Human Resources (CIPD qualification preferred);
  • Experience managing stakeholders with the ability to build strong working relationships effectively;
  • Experience within a client-facing HR lead role, with an emphasis in ER in a fast-paced, fast-growing organisation;
  • Demonstrable expertise in leading and supporting at a senior level high volume and complex ER casework as well as organisational change programs.

Personal Skills

  • Strong and up to date knowledge of employment legislation (Maltese and EU) and as well knowledge of HR policies and process and governance expertise;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to change;
  • Approachable and understanding, with strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written);
  • Proactive and exceptionally organised with excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload effectively, whilst working closely with the team;
  • Motivated and able to overcome obstacles that come with working a high-volume environment.
