Our client is a leading service provider for the civil aviation sector.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure that the company’s Safety and Quality Policy is communicated as well as promoted and implemented within the Organisation;
  • Ensure that all elements of the SMS are properly implemented, maintained and continuously improved by fulfilling all SMS related duties and responsibilities as defined in SMS Manual;
  • Build WBS accounting tree set up in SAP and assign PM activity type according to the contract conditions;
  • Create the project in the AWR tool (WAT) and create Over & Above AWRs for all tasks exceeding repair limit during ground time (man hours and material);
  • Verify and correct accounting tree in SAP according to contract / work package revisions during ground time;
  • Check man hours and material in SAP for not contracted and chargeable items during and end of ground time;
  • Monitor and investigate significant deviations in the budget against actual hours booked and assist to provide clear explanations;
  • Recognize additional work that is not covered by contract and issue Additional Work Requests (AWR) in agreement with the Account Manager;
  • Implement SAP data into AWR tool (WAT) and correct if necessary (as agreed with Account Manager or Project Manager);
  • Create estimate or Pre-Approval AWRs for any non-cap AWR before the commencement of the work and create final AWRs for additional work during ground time;
  • Handout and collect Customer Technical Representatives and Internal surveys;
  • Prepare complete AWR final package and hand-over customer signed final AWRs to invoicing department;
  • Archive the hard copies of the AWRs, also scan AWRs and archive electronically in SharePoint.

Experience

  • Fluent in written and spoken English;
  • 3 years of working experience in an approved Part 145 organisation, ideally in operations as B1/ B2;
  • 3 years of working experience in Planning or estimation.
