Our client is an established corporate service provider.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee the management of the group’s owned or rented properties;
- Ensure that various properties cater to the needs of occupants, including furnishing, IT and telecom infrastructure, and service offerings such as boardroom facilities;
- Guarantee compliance with all local safety requirements and regulations for the properties;
- Supervise the Facilities team;
- Maintain the properties adequately and ensure they remain in excellent working condition;
- Take responsibility for the cleanliness of the properties;
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors;
- Ensure that work is completed within set timelines, adhering to budget constraints and the terms outlined in contracts;
- Manage rental and lease arrangements;
- Handle negotiations of contracts with tenants and serve as their primary point of contact;
- Act as the representative of the group in condominium meetings, engage with tenants and estate agents, and manage interactions with utility companies, plumbers, electricians, and other service providers;
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller of the Organization to prepare budgets;
- Ensure effective budgeting within the organization and direct expenditures toward enhancing the efficiency of the work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Hold an A’ level standard of Education;
- Be fluent in English and Maltese, both verbally and written.
