Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Issue client invoices promptly and accurately, ensuring timely delivery;
- Maintain up-to-date and well-organized financial and accounting records;
- Conduct bank reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and posting necessary adjustments;
- Manage creditor entries in the general ledger, ensuring precise and complete transaction records;
- Contribute to monthly and annual closing activities, supporting financial reporting tasks;
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and perform regular reconciliations to support reporting accuracy;
- Assist in compiling budgets, financial statements, and internal management reports;
- Ensure all financial practices comply with relevant accounting standards and company policies;
- Coordinate with auditors by preparing and supplying required financial data and documentation;
- Collaborate effectively with the finance team to maintain smooth day-to-day accounting operations;
- Communicate with various departments to support integrated financial workflows;
- Recommend and help implement improvements to enhance process efficiency;
- Support forecasting activities and assist in conducting financial data analysis.
Experience
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in an accounting or finance-related role;
- Solid command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, for data analysis and financial reporting;
- Strong communication skills in both English and Maltese, both written and spoken;
- Familiarity with ERP systems or financial software is considered an asset;
- Solid understanding of core accounting practices and financial compliance standards.

- Self-motivated and proactive in managing tasks and adjusting priorities as needed;
- Quick to learn and adapt to evolving financial tools, systems, and technologies.
