Company Introduction

Our client is a start-up company in the travel industry.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Preparing the financial reports;
  • Preparing the financial projections and budgets in line with business plans;
  • Ensure that financial policies and procedures are being adhered to as set out in the Company financial guidelines;
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies & procedures;
  • Monitoring business performance and recommending corrective measures as necessary;
  • Assist and provide the necessary financial guidance;
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and communicate it the with management;
  • Assist with payroll;
  • Be involved in each aspect where the intervention of finance is needed;
  • Attend meetings with stakeholders and advise on long-term business and financial planning;
  • Oversee the back-office team in Malta;
  • Willing to travel abroad.

Experience

  • Hold an accountancy qualification, ACCA, bachelor’s degree or higher international qualification;
  • Previous experience in a similar role is required;
  • Be fluent in English and preferably also in French or Dutch;
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office;
  • Experience in the aviation or travel industry would be considered an asset.
