Our client is a leading company in financial services.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform verification and reconciliation of accounts, client and company hedging trades & positions, covering sensitive areas such as PSP’s;
- Verify and reconcile input documentation and any transaction of a complex nature;
- Maintain appropriate files, reports and general data;
- General adherence to deadlines on all departments especially as regards reporting to government entities;
- Good understanding of accountancy and financial reporting processes;
- Customer complaints handling and recording;
- When needed, to aid in other generic day to day operational tasks.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position within the financial services sector (specific experience in investment services is a plus);
- Studying for ACCA;
- Qualification in Banking, Finance, IT or similar would be considered as an asset;
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
