Our client is a leading company in financial services.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform, verification and reconcile accounts, client and company hedging trades and positions, covering sensitive areas such as Payment Service Providers;
  • Verify and reconcile input documentation and any transaction of a complex nature;
  • Maintain appropriate files, reports and general data;
  • General adherence to deadlines on all departments especially as regards reporting to government entities;
  • Good understanding of accountancy and financial reporting processes;
  • Day-to-day bookkeeping activities on the position is required for preparation of weekly and monthly internal reporting;
  • Recording and resolving customer complaints;
  • When needed, aid in other generic day to day operational tasks.

Experience

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position within the financial services sector (specific experience in investment services is a plus);
  • Started ACCA or currently studying for the qualification;
  • Qualification in Banking, Finance, IT or similar would be considered as an asset.

  • IT oriented, analytic and strong attention to detail;
  • Problem solving attitude and able to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills;
  • Able to work on his/her own initiative and have excellent time-management skills;
  • Good team player and understands the necessity of keeping a dynamic working environment;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Excel.
