Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage the internal audit strategies in line with the audit standards and regulations issued by the Institute of Internal Audit;
  • Create and manage an audit universe after discussions with the Group’s audit committee;
  • Prepare and review reports prepared by the internal audit staff and present reports to the Audit Committee that detail the audit findings;
  • Manage the preparation of the company’s annual audit plan;
  • Investigate issues requested;
  • Stay updated on the standards, guidelines, best practices, equipment, and methodologies applicable to the industry;
  • Inform top management proactively of any major internal control, compliance, or governance-related risks or exposures that need immediate attention;
  • Recruit, hire and keep a high-performing audit team with exceptional knowledge, experience, ethics, and integrity.


  • Proven experience as Head of Internal Audit or in a similar leadership role;
  • Professional qualifications in Accountancy;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AML and GDPR regulations, along with a strong understanding of Internal Audit standards.
