Company Introduction

Our client is a sports betting and gaming operator.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare and issue all new joiner offers and contracts;
  • Responsible for all employee changes throughout the employee life cycle;
  • Act as first point of contact for all employees regarding any HR related queries;
  • Build and maintain relationships with our employees;
  • Work with the wider HR team on key initiatives;
  • Work with the wider HR Operations team to align and implement processes;
  • Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions;
  • Handling work permits for employees when necessary;
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates;
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions;
  • Ensures compliance with local authorities;
  • Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors;
  • Booking payroll transactions on accounting system;
  • Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.

Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of experience of working in an international matrix organisation;
  • Solid understanding of Maltese HR and Payroll requirements;
  • Previous experience working with internal and external payroll providers.

  • Experience of implementing and improving processes;
