Our client is a leading player in the security sector.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support the HR Manager with preparing and presenting the yearly training budget and with the upkeep of training practices;
  • Organising/ coordinating training and ensuring necessary documentation and certifications are in place;
  • Responsible for applications for funding where eligible;
  • Responsible for the full process of acquiring employment licenses and license renewals for third country nationals and liaising with the necessary authorities (work permits); coordinating tenants and apartment leases and upkeep;
  • Manage the HR Database, Job Descriptions and Uniform restocking;
  • Responsible for work permit applications and renewals; for Employee Satisfaction: career branding (photo shoots, social media posts);
  • Responsible for regular meetings with individual team members throughout the year;
  • Support the HRM with the performance management (system maintenance) and recruitment (advertising, vetting CV’s, interviewing and offers of employment) where required.


  • At least 2 years of experience working in an HR Generalist or HR Assistant role;
  • An HR related certificate, diploma or degree in a related discipline (psychology, organisational behaviour, human resources management or business management);
  • A good understanding of local labour legislation (EIRA);
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel);
  • Proficiency in English and ideally also in Maltese.
