Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Facilitate introductory audit meetings and prepare system notes, workflow diagrams, and audit programs;
  • Conduct in-depth audits, including operational, financial, IT, and compliance reviews, by gathering and analyzing data to assess the efficiency of internal controls. Maintain organized audit working files;
  • Compile detailed audit reports that effectively communicate findings, provide actionable recommendations, and outline management's action plans. Participate in exit meetings to present findings, gather feedback, and establish timelines with auditees;
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations through follow-ups to ensure timely resolution of identified issues;
  • Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies while staying informed about industry trends and regulatory updates within the property, gaming, and hospitality sectors;
  • Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement by offering guidance on risk management and internal control best practices;
  • Conduct investigations and address unplanned issues or assignments as they arise throughout the year;
  • Perform unannounced inspections when necessary;
  • Adapt to evolving duties and assignments as required.

Experience

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline;
  • Have at least 2 years of professional experience in auditing, risk management, or compliance, ideally within the property, gaming, or hospitality sectors;
  • Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications;
  • Solid understanding of applicable laws and regulations within the property, gaming, and hospitality industries.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and clear reporting;
  • Capable of working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
