Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide technical support to employees on hardware, software, and network-related issues;
  • Install, configure, maintain, and support computer systems, servers, and network devices;
  • Monitor network performance and ensure optimal uptime, reliability, and availability of IT systems;
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner;
  • Implement and maintain security protocols and procedures to protect systems and data from cybersecurity threats;
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights, ensuring appropriate security controls are maintained;
  • Collaborate with internal departments to identify technological requirements and recommend suitable solutions;
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of IT equipment, software licences, hardware assets, and peripherals;
  • Assist in coordinating and prioritising day-to-day IT operations and activities;
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior members of the IT team when required;
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and developments within the gaming and technology sectors, making recommendations for improvements where appropriate;
  • Create and maintain documentation relating to IT processes, procedures, system configurations, and technical standards;
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and process optimisation initiatives;
  • Assist with the procurement, deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of IT equipment and peripherals.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, Technical Support, or Enterprise IT environments;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience;
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls, SMB/Samba, NFS, SSH, and RDP;
  • Experience working with Linux environments, including CentOS, Red Hat, Debian, and Ubuntu;
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments;
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies, including ESXi, Proxmox, and XCP-ng;
  • Experience administering Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Intune environments;
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, Zero Trust architecture, and security best practices;
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools, including PowerShell, Bash, Python, CMD, or similar technologies;
  • Experience working with ticket handling systems and version control platforms, preferably Helix (Perforce);
  • Experience within a software development or game development environment will be considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Perforce, server administration, virtualisation technologies, gaming consoles, computer hardware maintenance, cybersecurity protocols, Ethernet cable crimping (RJ-45), and multi-site environments will be considered assets.

Personal Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Ukrainian and/or Russian will be considered an asset;
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities;
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment;
  • Proactive and hands-on approach to technical challenges;
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and support to team members when required;
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering reliable IT solutions.
